Today was an alright day for me until around 3 pm this afternoon when I took some time from cleaning and working on my son's project to check my email.  My mom left to get my middle son from school, and I received a shock.

take him home as swiftly as their wings can carry him.  My adopted father, Elridge "Doc" Miller took his last breath at roughly 11:15 pm on Thursday, January 10, 2007.  He was 71 years young and deeply loved by many people.

So, here we are...in 2008 and it seems that one thing has happened after another.  I know change happens when we least expect it.  But, this is getting to me at different levels and for different reasons.
