Had a playdate with nerak-rose today :) We went nosing about in bookshops, nerdy shops, and nerdy bookshops, and then we had a late lunch together.
I'd hoped to find something by Tolkien in the second-hand bookshops, but alas, no luck. I didn't go home empty-handed, though. 8D

Oh my god YES. They accepted my offer, even though it was £20 less than their "buy it now" price on eBay. I'm now the proud owner of a 1968 first edition second impression single volume of The Lord of the Rings. ♥ -
