Mmm, books.
I now own two editions of Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere! Isn't the Danish cover gorgeous? <3
Now, the reason behind getting it in Danish, is because for Danish class we have to read a novel of our own choosing. The only criteria is that it has to fit within one of the themes we've worked with, and that if it isn't Danish originally, that we read the Danish translation. I'm not big on Danish classic literature, and most of the classics I do want to read are English, and so I'd prefer to read them in English.
So, I decided to pick something I know and love. Neverwhere is one of my all-time favourite books, and I've read it three times so far. I mean, why not?
It'll be interesting to see if the translation is any good. We'll have to write a review by the end of it, too, so it's a handy point of reference that I've already read it several times in its original language.
