The Holly & The Ivy

Holidays of any kind brought in a little extra income, but Christmas especially was known for it. Matched only by Valentine's Day, it was the best time of year for the struggling botanist to make a little extra cash on the side, and she'd made certain to have plenty of the little wreaths, poinsettias and everything else one might want to decorate with for the festive season.

With her little cart normally reserved for roses, Tellu sat in the middle of the park. She was dressed for the occasion, a long black heavy skirt and long sleeve turtleneck, with a couple white ribbons in her hair. From a small thermos she poured herself a cup of tea. All that was left now was to wait for those who were doing a little early shopping. Couples were especially easy targets, with the red, white and pink roses she'd kept on the cart with everything else.
