Seriously. I don't know how TVD managed it, but it's my favourite show airing atm. It's sort of amusing, too, because any of my friends who aren't watching it look at me like I'm crazy whenever I suggest it isn't just vampire trash (or even just part of the vamp craze), while anyone who's watching agrees about the Awesome.
Like I said in-post, I've loved Caroline since the pilot--I've always found her very sympathetic, and alternately amusing, adorable, and heartbreaking--but I love the material they're giving her this season; if anything can bring people on board with Caroline, it has to be 2x03, because seriously, Candice, the girl is amazing. I just hope that they maintain the balance they had in Bad Moon Rising--banter (bunnies! and two-degrees-from-"it's tuesday"-face!), Matt, and awesome acting. I am all over that portrayal of Caroline. But, now the writers are talking about how (at some nebulous point in the future, so soon or after the show ends) Caroline is doomed, and it makes me all D: Especially since they already did the

the bunnies scene had me in stitches. the actors for damon/elena and stefan/caroline definitely have more chemistry together which i'm pretty sure the writers have figured out by now :p although /something/ about caroline still annoys me, i think when she gets high strung and snippy. but she has her funny moments so i can overlook that. i agree on the bonnie being super annoying part as well. maybe i'm just easily annoyed.. i think the only character who hasn't done that so far on the show is elena..but sometimes she's just a mary sue :p
anyway, i don't exactly know how they're going to have elena forgiving damon..because..i would never forgive someone who killed my (sibling). i mean, he didn't /try/ to murder jeremy, he did. the ring just happened to bring him back to life. to me, that is unforgiveable, vampire amplified rage or not.
Best. Scene. Ever. I want to keep that scene on my ipod to make me laugh during papers and exams. I love Caroline and Stefan together--their banter is hilarious. I don't necessarily want them to pair up romantically, but they're adorably amusing as friends.
/something/ about caroline still annoys me, i think when she gets high strung and snippy.Fair enough--to me, that's just part of her character being human, and I've always found her very sympathetic (especially because I tend to think some of her behaviour is a little more justified, albeit not perfectly-mature, than the other characters will admit), and I have a fondness for characters with a lot of range, so Caroline being amusing and heartbreaking in the episode pretty well guarantees her a spot in my heart
