So today I gave up on Kill Wizard for a while..... the plot is a lot more complex than most of the other things I have read so far and they were using so much kanji it was just too slow reading it.....  There is a lot of magic, and when they do the magic, the background is gray - I can't read the furigana on it because it's too small and it blends ( Read more... )

Had a lovely day at the junior high dressed as Alice..... for basically the first time ever, I was leading classes at jr high level.  We did the same things I did with 5/6 graders but using less Japanese to explain and talking a little more about American culture and American pumpkins.  I even gave them the same stickers if they found all the words ( Read more... )

Looks like tomorrow night I will be spending the night with some friends in another city and then we'll all go down to the Edo place together on Monday (which is a holiday in Japan).  Should be fun ^__^

I finished sewing the straps on the apron tonight so I think it's about done.  I'll have to take pictures soon.
