Now that I have learned to make e-books I want to do ALL the Old Races stuff RIGHT NOW and get them up for people to buy! NOW! NOW NOW NOW!

…except I haven’t edited “YoM”, I need cover art for it and ORIGINS, and I need to write one or two stories for AFTERMATH. Curses. :)

Holy crap, I just finished the first ElectriCity script! That means we’re actually, y’know, like, approaching the exciting stuff!

Fred is off to Origins this week, so the editing passes won’t happen on it until early July, probably, but: I’m going to run it up the flagpole and send it to the artist we would dearly like to work with, just in case ( Read more... )

My window of opportunity for unadulterated work is nearly up, as my mother in law leaves on Saturday. In the three weeks she’s been here, though, I’ve revised a novel, written an Old Races short story and six Gryphon Beach stories, worked on a novella, developed a synopsis, and decided on what two projects I’m going to be writing synopses for.

It is perhaps somewhat misleading to refer to a process that takes five weeks to bang out a synopsis as “going great guns”, but given the workloads Fred and I are under (granted, most of mine’s self-imposed at this point, but nevermind that), I really think the storyline development for ElectriCity is going great guns.

I can’t help it. I just think Green Lantern looks like a great big shiny CGI flop. Maybe I’m wrong-probably I’m wrong-but that’s what I see when I watch the trailers.

We went to Pirates and to X-Men this weekend. By half an hour in I already thought Pirates was too long. It had its moments of charm, of course, but it could easily have been 45 ( Read more... )
