"Completed and ready to be" or "Brought me a Pumpkin Ice Blended"
I completed my first crochet afghan last night. It's purdy. But it seems like no sooner was it completed and ready to be enjoyed, it had to be shoved into a cardboard box and wrapped up for the people it's going to go to. **sigh** I really need to make something big for myself. I get way too attached to these things by the time I'm done, but they've already got a home to go to. I've been thinking of making a canopy for my bed. I'd need a good pattern, and a LOT of yarn, so it might be pretty expensive. At least I'm going to be reimbursed for the materials on this latest project.
nevergabe's in town this weekend for the wedding. He brought me a Pumpkin Ice Blended from Coffee Bean earlier today. OMG it was SO good.
Must shower now. Then to wedding where I get to say goodbye to the afghan for good. At least, until I see it at my cousin's place. But I have a feeling that after their five kids and however many dogs have their way with it, it won't look quite the same. Maybe I can recruit someone with a camera to take pictures of it, first. That'd be good.
