. . .  the snow turned into slush by the morning and school was not cancelled.

And I'm feeling decidedly tired considering that I woke up at 5 am like a giddy schoolgirl to check if school was cancelled and it wasn't. So, I half-sleepily, half-disappointingly went back to bed.

Hoping that it snows really heavily tonight. We might get up to 3", which would be fabulous since I have a quiz tomorrow that I didn't really study for. Plus, I'd really like a day off. While making lemon bars today, I accidentally grated my finger (well, my thumb, which I guess isn't technically a finger) instead of the lemon rind. So that kinda hurt. But I got out of doing dishes.

I've been sewing, I swear (more on that down below). But, sewing has sort of taken a back seat due to the completion of my apartment search. Mom managed to find me an awesome apartment that we went to visit on Thursday.
