I spent the day organizing my sewing stuff, and have listed a ton of fabric, patterns, and finished reeancting garments over here on the other blog, as, well, they're taking up space and I'd like to pass them on to somebody who could use them. So, there's this show on A&E about hoarders, and today, me, my mom, and little sis were watching an episode about this lady who hoards food all over her house, and then forgets about how much food she has. I've been waiting for this swiss dot fabric to go on sale, so I can use it to recreate on of my favorite modern blouses at home. I almost succumbed and bought it two days ago, but I'm glad I waited - it's now on sale for half the price, so I was able to get more of it! Yay! . . . . and decided to get the lavendar silk. I was able to use a coupon code, so the fabric only came to $3.51 a yard. That was just too big of a deal to pass up and apparently my mother agreed (she is a major bargain hunter). I've had my eye on this fabric for a while, and it has finally gone on sale. I'd think it make a lovely Regency dress (for a first-timer!), although I wouldn't be able to get to it until this summer. I'm *pretty* sure I have a slight concussion. I hit my head pretty hard on the frame of the backseat of my mom's car while trying to get in it today. You see, with my college lifestyle, I'm now used to walking everywhere, and I kind of forgot how to get into a car. Ooops.
