oops, haven't posted in awhile
Spring Break will do that to you. Sorry...
I had a good Spring Break. It's weird...I live in a Spring Break destination, yet I do not partake (and have not partaken) in any Spring Break activities that would be considered traditional. But, it was a nice week for the Spring Breakers who made their way here. The weather was nice, it was only slightly windy, and the sun stayed out most of the time. We mostly stayed in and did around-the-house things. We went out to dinner with friends, saw a movie, etc. We really just needed a week to sit and relax. It was good.
My next appointment with my doctor is on Friday. We've hit the 3rd trimester (thereabouts) and that means that I get to see my doctor every 2 weeks until about week 36. Then, it's every week. I called about childbirthing classes and got those set up. I'll be taking the hospital's regular 4-hour "Child Birth and You" class (or whatever it's called). That'll be all on a Sunday (because normally, the classes are in the evenings once a week...and that doesn't work with my schedule). I'm also taking a Breastfeeding class, an Infant CPR class, and of course, touring the hospital. This week, the goal is to get a pediatrician lined up.
The annoying thing about this Spring Break is the cold that I somehow got that started on Tuesday. By Saturday, I was miserable. I think it's the most miserable I've been with a cold ever. So, I took it real easy on Saturday and by Sunday, I was feeling much better. I still have the sniffles today but am on the mend.
The other thing that got done this week was setting up the crib. Scott put together the crib pretty quickly and so it's ready to go. We also got the glider and that's in the room, too. Now, all we have to do is get rid of all the cardboard and packing stuff that came with it. ;)
