My (extended) family is positively on a MoonSun high. Being the obliging unnie and resident kdrama expert *ahem*, and because I'd already finished the drama eons ago when I didn't know any better, I rewatched the first six-seven episodes with them.

Which is just one of the reasons this drama is perfect. It's refreshing than in Tree, everyone is smart so I can stop facepalming and cringing at every misstep that could've been avoided with a bit of common sense, and just enjoy these brilliant, brilliant people trying to outsmart each other.

My initial love has settled into a solid, respectable like. I still enjoy watching Big, and I feel nothing but love for Gong Yoo's Kang Kyung-joon (come think of it, Gong Yoo's character in Coffee Prince was the only thing that worked for me in that drama). But what else is new?

I knew the guy could sing as he was in Dream High, but I've never heard his singing before. I was pleasantly surprised to hear this little love song from MoonSun's OST, where KSH was singing of Hwon's love for Yeon-woo. His singing is like his acting, IMO: raw, but powerful.

This is an edited re-post of my criticism of the character Heo Yeon-woo, originally posted at Soompi two days ago. Unfortunately, many of the more vocal posters in the MoonSun thread seem to think that pointing out certain flaws in a well-loved drama is wanton bashing.
