Every Spring there are some birdies that set up nest right near our apartment. And every year our cat Milo gets them all riled up and full of angst.

Though Milo's staples and stitches have been taken out, and though the wound on his neck is closed up, we are still keeping the jacket on him to keep the scabbed over area and the still tender hairless skin covered up. My cat is loopy right now from his pain medication.

He just kneaded my boob for a few seconds and then tried to suck at it through my shirt. He is looking at me so strangely that I think he thinks I'm his mamma. A very large non-hairy unwhiskered cat mamma.

Milo tore up the straight jacket looking coat that the vet put on him to keep him from scratching or biting at his staples.

So we bought him a little dog jacket to wear and he now preens around like some sort of GQ cat.

Last Saturday or it might've been Sunday, our cat Milo was attacked by another cat (we were not here when it happened but a neighbor had heard it and told us about the noise once he saw Milo all bandaged up). My boy cat Milo could be dead asleep (usually in my laundry hamper - amongst the dirty clothes). But the minute I (or Randy) walks into the bathroom to use the toilie, we will hear a large galloping sound as he races to the bathroom and skids on the tile in his excitement. So earlier my girl cat was sitting at the sliding door that leads out to the back patio area, intent on backyard happenings.
