He's got to run, but he eyes the sign on the noticeboard for a moment -- he can't decide between volunteering for grill or fire brigade duties -- then scrawls on it with a chewed up pencil before leaving.

"There's a caribbean inlet around here? Why didn't I show up in a bikini and a hula skirt?"

"... Yeah, I must have missed that in the hustle and bustle of being stuck in a bar full of rats," Ava says. She speaks and carries herself with a strained sort of cheer.
"Also, okay, I knew the bar did that abracadabra-have-a-mojito thing, but it also has one-stop shopping?"

And then, he realizes something. "Hi, I am Ben Winchester." He offers a hand that is strong but gentle, some rough and calloused from some kind of work. The young man seems to be in his late teens.

Ah, well. He is still sad that she will 'hold out' for her future-known-husband. But really, why the pretty sexy smart witch would want anything with a nerd, right?
