Mallory notes the sign and smiles. She's on her way out, having come in accidentally, but stops for a brief chat.

"Hey, Ben. Throwing a party, huh? I can lifeguard if you still need one; I'm CPR and first aid certified."

"Hey Mallory!" He smiles brightly, getting up to give her a peck on the cheek. "Thanks, I hope nobody gets sick or needs rescuing, but... better safe than sorry. How are you?"

"I'm all right. Been working extra shifts at the restaurant. Summer is crazy busy, and the college kids who worked during semester all quit to enjoy the summer."

She is thankfully NOT wearing her uniform at the moment.

"How about you?"

"Hmm... trying different stuff, finding myself, trying to believe I will not always screw up." Giving this 'party organization' thing a jab is a good start, right?

"Did you look under the couch? When I can't find something, it usually ends up there."

She winks.

"Sorry, that's really corny...I'm pretty tired, and I tend to get silly when I haven't had enough sleep."

"Well, go home and rest, then we can talk later?" He does not mind, really.

"You bet. Count me in for the party, though. I'll look forward to some downtime. See you later."

"See you, take care. And... pick a small bikini?" Ben grins and winks to her, of course he is joking.
