There are hands over his eyes and the person speaks with a cockney accent.

"Oh really looks like fun.. Guess who?"

"Ginny." Ben places his hands over hers. "How are you?"

Ah, well. He is still sad that she will 'hold out' for her future-known-husband. But really, why the pretty sexy smart witch would want anything with a nerd, right?

Of course, he is not going to say anything even close to that.

Ginny smiles and hugs him from behind. She is not planning on marring anyone but Harry. But she could use a friend. And maybe sharing meals. That's just friendly right?

"I'm Great I'm in my last week of school ever!"

"Ooh, Nice. I still have a whole year ahead... after this one." Well, a friend he can be, sure.

She smiles and looks at him. "Your how old again?" She moves to stand in front of him now.

"I am 17. Almost 18..." Ben frowns a bit, almost like he did not realize until now how fast time has been passing...

She nods as she looks at him. " I see that's not so bad. it's a good age."

"I might BE 18 already... if I count time back home and time here. It's weird, spend three days here and not have a second passing back home."

"Yeah. I've had that happen. I spent a week here and didn't lose time at home."

"Yeah, but it adds up. I might end being 40 while still only 'officially' 20..." And that would be much weird.

She laughs. "you would be over twice my age. Who knows you could go and get like 21 while your here"

"And then grow some chin scruff too? Go emo, indie or goth, and 'rebel against the system'?" He grins a bit, giving her a hug. "Eh, as long as my friends don't start all vanishing..."

She nods. "Yeah that is not fun when your gone for a while and your friends are gone."

"Ah, the 'gone for a while' part is easy to avoid, I think. The door appears for me about everyday or several times a day."

"That's good. As long as it's not like you don't come back like fifty and old and a grandpa"

[benloserz]

"Ah, for that I would first have to be a father. And for that, I would have to find a girl." And really, we know Ben's chances of that happening are a big number between zero and nil.
