Attended a lecture today by a gentleman who is a follower of Peace Pilgrim. His main focus is on "radical love," and how when you show kindness to people, no matter what, it creates a lot of reciprocal power, in addition to just making the world a better place.

Just found out that Ms. Lera, from the neighborhood, passed away in her sleep.  She was 68.  She was a short little thing, who smoked those little cigars.  She had a raspy voice, which I heard frequently when she made calls to the people in the community to remind us of meetings and events.  It was obvious she wasn't in good health, but I barely ( Read more... )
