I just wrote two haiku for a portfolio that I have to turn in in the next hour.  I really enjoy writing haiku for whatever reason.  They come out of my brain rather effortlessly, but I spend little time on them, so they're not the greatest.  Nevertheless, I like writing them.

I'm so happy right now.  I have split pea soup!  Everyday I struggle to find food here at college that I don't find too terribly inedible or that won't upset my stomach, and at last I have something!  It's pretty damn good, too, which is rare anywhere you have a meal plan.  My only complaint:  I wish they had bigger bowls.  I'm a hungry girl.
