So...I finished Breaking Dawn last night, and I uh, I'm kind of ashamed to say, I actually liked it. It was pretty much exactly what I expected. I think I mentioned this earlier, but reading the spoilers beforehand definitely helped because I was mentally prepared for some of the insane things to come. Plus, I'm used to the series now and all of Meyer's poor writing habits and crazy ideas. As I've always said, these are not the greatest books ever, and they do have a lot of problems, but they sure are addicting and bring the funny (even if it's unintentional).

I'm actually sitting at home right now writing this because my awesome boss gave everyone the day off. She said we deserved a break because of all of the chaos of moving earlier in the week. I'm going to use my free day off to go see some movies. First we're going to see Pineapple Express, and then we'll attempt to sneak into Step Brothers. I know that one hasn't received the greatest reviews, but I still want to see it. Other than the movies, my weekend is pretty open. I'll have to find something to do with my time.

This morning I came into the living room, turned on the TV, and then didn't bother to change the channel. The Today show is on, and all they're talking about are the Olympics. I usually watch the show in the morning while I'm getting ready for work, and they've been talking about them all week. I don't care! They haven't even started yet, and I'm already so sick of the Olympics. I won't be watching any events. I'm just not interested.
