Last night we went up to Haunted Overload in NH. We had gone previously 2 years ago and I was torn by the experience. I loved the visuals, but really hated dealing with the actors. I don't like being startled. I know the rule is "touch nothing and nothing will touch you", but I stop thinking logically in the dark

We had very few trick-or-treaters. Most of them were delighted with the treats. We give out toys, not candy. One little vampire boy plucked a bendy skeleton then dropped it saying "I want the top. Tops are great!" Two zombie middle schoolers cooed over their mini rubber duckies. Only one boy turned his back completely when he saw there was no candy

At last night's show, several of the audience members were wearing costumes. Scratch asked me if I knew what Trixie was. She was wearing red tights, an orange skirt, a yellow sweater, and a large multi-colored pompom on her head
