You know what I've always wanted to know? A count of characters, I know. I'm reviewing chapter 1 of my Japanese book for the characters and words. I got to 7 out of 12 chapters.

Black: Known
Blue: Know by recognition. Can only read.
Red: Not known / Forgotten.

What I learned from taking Beginners Chinese is that characters are actually very easy to learns if they have radicals. I think, I've mentioned this before. Anyways, I'm pondering what I should even do with the little Japanese I do know. The truth is that I like writing the characters but not learning the grammar so much. I think I've probably admitted it somewhere, sometime in this journal but Spanish is my [heritage language]! What it means is that I only speak it with my mom.
