I baked oatmeal cookies today - and I managed not to burn down the kitchen! I used this recipe.

To my surprise, the cookies didn't flop - Donovan even gave his seal of approval, despite the raisins. (High praise, indeed.)

Hee. I've managed to turn my mother into an Alias addict too. She's been keeping me up to date with one of the TV shows I don't get here, and she wrote this in her email to me: Took me back to Alias when gorgeous man and alias girl were hit! LOL. Now I'm not the only one who refers to Alias when things happen.
