Procrastination activities: Laundry, did the dishes, chased a devil-cat out the yard before she could kill Ripley. (Said cat returned to the garden in the afternoon, and she and Ripley have been glaring daggers at each other through my bedroom window.)

Mel: Out. Now.
And then, my "reading is evil and should be banned" brother said, "If you finish your novel, I'll read it."
I almost fell off my chair in shock.
Now I have an added incentive for reaching 50,000. I'm going to make my little brother read ... mwahaha ...
