We took the short drive to the beach to spend a quiet Sunday. I am enjoying the lovely fresh ocean air and getting some betaing done, while the kids tempt fate by 'avoiding' waves. It is only a matter of time before they fall in the frigid water. I hope you all are having an equally lovely day.

I was uploading pics from my daughter's camera today (she's been begging for me to do it for ages) and I found the most adorable, gem of a picture. It is so wonderful because it sums up my middle daughter so perfectly! I only wish it were in focus. :)

I've been MIA on livejournal this past week. This week our 5 yr old started Kindergarten. We homeschool our older two but the baby really wanted to go to Kindergarten, and since it is such a short day (they only go from 8:20-11am) we were fine with that. She'll homeschool next year. I love my prompts, but for some reason, despite copious amounts of backstory, outlines, and notes I've been able to create, I can't seem to get the damn fic started! Okay, that isn't quite true -- I have 3 pages written, but I feel nothing for it and have reached a point where I just haven't a clue what to do! It just won't move. Grrr...!!! Today was such a lovely day! My day started with watching my kids pick figs with their Grammy before she went off to work.
