Hello All, long time, no post, sorry. So let's see, Mark's parents left on Sunday. We spent their two week visit eating and drinking way too much. I can't believe this is my last day at West for the month.  Where did April go?  It's been rainy and cold the majority of the month and I'm hoping for a change in May.   Who am I kidding?  I'm hoping for a change TOMORROW!  It's the start of a three day weekend.  Then I have school on Tuesday and then I'm off for the rest of the week.  Golden Week ( Read more... )

Monday's conference started at 2, so we got into Yokohama (MinatoMirai) around 12. We grabbed the materials for the conference and then Mark and I went to the hotel next door the Intercontinental, and tried to check in, though we were two hours early. They let us, woo! As Mark would say, I'm Bunged Up, meaning I have a cold and a head full of crap. It's fun stuff, and I've been like this since Sunday night, so my whole trip to Yokohama.

I've been busy today teaching my last third grade classes and grading the first grade tests, so I'll start my updates tomorrow. Stay tuned.
