It's not really a cave.

Hello All, long time, no post, sorry. So let's see, Mark's parents left on Sunday. We spent their two week visit eating and drinking way too much. We drove to Atami (the beach) for a day, and also went to Yokohama and Kamakura during Golden Week (a bunch of National Holidays in Japan), which wasn't the most intelligent decision ever, but oh well. We had a birthday bbq for his mum and went to dinner at Rumiko's. We also went over to Mark's teacher's house for dinner. Her husband is from Iran, so that was cool.

The art show is down now after a good week's run. A lot of people made it out to see it and that means a lot, even some teachers found the time to go. Yesterday we had a wedding shower for Julie. A bunch of us went to the wine cave in Katsunuma (more like a cellar, full of wine from Yamanashi). Most of the wine was crap and we had a hard time finding any that we liked. We ended up at the last table of reds with a Japanese guy who told us about a wine that was so good, it had even won a silver in the world wine competition and is one of the few Japanese wines to make it to the competition at all. Well, we spoke with one of the ladies working there and she didn't even know that it was award winning, but she did know the guy who made it and he was in the building. He came down and had a chat with us in Japanese, luckily Crystal speaks pretty good Japanese, because I didn't really understand). We took a picture of us and him and the bottle of wine. Then we went to Gohei for dinner in Ryuo. There were just 7 of us girls, it was a nice party.

And its Monday now. The day has gone by fast enough, I'm going to sneak out soon and go to the BOE to talk about my plane ticket. And then I have lessons tonight. That's it, go look at my pictures on Flickr. :)
