This weekend was the festival to honor(?) the former warlord around these parts. His name was Takeda Shingen and that's really all I know about him. It was an extra special year because there is currently a drama on Japanese tv about him, and two of the very famous actors made an appearance. No not school festival time, or sumo tournament. It's the dreaded Rice Harvesting time, and my allergies are pissed off. Yesterday, we picked up Rebecca and drove down the 358 to Fuji. We made great time and arrived at about 9:30 (the park opened at 9).
