Last night I saw the new Roger Corman film Virtually Heroes. As you might know Mr. Corman is the king of the low budget B movie. Yesterday Dad and I saw an experimental film called North of South, East of West. There were 20 swivel chairs on castors for the audience and four screens around the room for the movie. I have now attended three shorts progams plus the super amazing In a World. The shorts ranged from awesome (Record/Play) to dear God why? Even the animated shorts can be gruesome and/or pointless. Saw documentary shorts today. They ranged from meh to whoa. The last was a heartbreaking story about a 13 year old Pakistani girl that was kidnapped, gang raped, then escaped and tried to seek justice. Not as cold here as I feared. Saw The World According to Dick Cheney this morning. He was even more of a skunk than I'd imagined. He also seems to live in a fantasy world where he was always right about everything including illegal wiretaps and torture.
