Yesterday morning, I did indeed go out to the didactic and life-affirming Hines Drive and had the pleasure of riding my bike back and forth in the annual Hines Park Time Trial. Sunday morning, I did indeed go out to the accursed and dreaded Hines Drive and, for the first time since April 2008, I both started and finished a bike race. This weekend was the annual Michigan Cyclocross Season's visit to Veterans Park, Ann Arbor with two races this year, one Saturday morning and one Sunday morning. Maybe this was Tailwind's way of getting more race dates from Ann Arbor on the schedule, which, since I hate driving long distances to race, I gladly support.
