Since I started feeling a little better last week, I have been completely absorbed by Atonement (the novel, not the movie) by Ian McEwan. Granted, I haven't read anything I'd consider "literary fiction" in quite some time, but this is the best book I have read in I cannot remember how long. Oh, oh, oh I am giddy! This is one of my absolute favorite books and I'm SO thrilled they're making a film of it.

Woot! The Yarn Harlot is coming back to Michigan in April and this time I won't be in Vegas and miss her! And its on a Sunday, which is fabbity because its about a 45 minute drive from here (Last time I would've had to scam my way out of work early to have gotten to see her if I'd been in town). I finally bought The Girlfriends Guide to Pregnancy Monday night after much prodding from many f-listers who insisted it would be the most entertaining and informative pregnancy book I bought.
