February Discernment

Feb 11, 2011 13:50

Since the developing relationship with Ben is forefront in Our mind, We find it interesting that this month seems relationship oriented. It can also be applicable to elcca, who is fairly new as well! Though, We understand that since these ARE forefront, We are baised toward finding relative stuff. :-)

This month's word is Seed, the guide is Bear (in contrary) and the Sacred Path is Fire Medicine. Also, the numbers 30 and 6 are significant.

Seed - Phrases seem to be important here: Seeds of Change, a small embryonic plant, open content, Our Mustard Seed, a library and interpreter, genetics.

Bear, in contrary: “Anything less than the doing of that which gives you the most joy is denial.” Sams, Jamie. Medicine Cards. Pg 58.

Fire Medicine - “There are six forms of Fire: Grandfather Sun, Mother Earth’s core, Lightening, Lava, Fire that burns wood and the Fire Within… You are being asked to acknowledge the Fire Within… Al that is needed to continue the passion is to decide you are worthy and proceed… Any old fears of intimacy or commitment can act as limitations to relationships. If this applies to you, clear the fear. As the fear clears, so will the coldness of past hurts, and you will be ready for more rewarding future relationships.” Sams, Jamie. Sacred Path Cards. Pgs 231-235.

30
Represent the perfect balance in the cosmic organization.
To Cabalistic, this number is associated with the letter "lamed", in form of sickle "to express the maturity of the crop". It corresponds also to the 12th Arcane of the Tarot, the Hanging, which is interpreted generally as the Expiation, the Sacrifice, the Martyrdom.

You have a highly developed creative talent. You are friendly and sociable, affectionate and loving. You can also be moody and subject to rapid ups and downs.

While the number 30 has many significations, its most fundamental significance is the fact that it is the number of the circle, or cycle. The circle, it will be noted, is the geometric expression of absolute completion and infinity. It symbolizes the continuous, yet fixed, nature of life, energy and matter along the timeline. It is the shape of every planet in the solar system and the fittest representation of all time cycles as the clock itself (being in the shape of a circle) testifies.

6 (because of Fire)
The Life Path 6 suggests that you entered this plane with tools to become the ultimate nurturer, and a beacon for truth, justice, righteousness, and domesticity. You are idealistic and must feel useful to be happy. The main contribution you make is that of advice, service, and ever present support. You are a humanitarian of the first order. It is your role to serve others, and you start in the home environment. It's likely you feel compelled to function with strength and compassion. You are a sympathetic and kind person, generous with personal and material resources. Wisdom, balance, and understanding are the cornerstones of your life, and these define your approach to life in general. Your extraordinary wisdom and the ability to understand the problems of others is apt to commence from an early age. You may have a tendency to become overwhelmed by responsibilities and a slave to others, especially members of you own family or close friends. It's easy for you to fall into a pattern of being too critical of others; you also have a tendency to become too hard on yourself. The misuse of this Life Path produces tendencies for you to engage in exaggeration, over-expansiveness, and self-righteousness. Modesty and humility may not flow easily. Imposing one's views in an interfering or meddling way must be an issue of concern.
