Fashion Victim
I got a couple of fashion magazines today, because I'm going to be doing a few more of those photo-copied watercolors. Bride (lots of pretty dresses) and Bazar (fashion preview!). There were all pretty scary.
First off, most of the models were so skinny they looked like they'd just been liberated from Treblinka. In the Brides magazine, they had tons of super-hot chicks in bridesmaid dresses, many with expressions that could only be described as "fuck me" faces. No bride in her right mind would let these women anywhere near a wedding party.
In Bazar, the models were even skinnier, and the clothes weirder. One of the swimsuit models had an expression that looked outright psychotic, like she was planning to kill the next person she saw. One of the runway models was wearing with freaky, bulky sweater...thing... that had some parts of it hanging down by the knees. It looked like one of those 600 pound people they have on Discovery Health with huge flabs of edema swollen flesh hanging off of them. Another photo shoot had models at the airport, all of them wearing heels so outrageous they'd snap their ankles if they tried to negotiate one of those ramps leading on or off the plane. Other than that, the rest of the models just looks so thin I wanted to sit them down and give them a hamburger or something.
