Took down the ceiling fan that Hubby installed (not to my satisfaction) on Wednesday. Evaluated the problem - 3 layers of drywall between the electrical box and surface of ceiling. A visit to Lowes secured the parts needed. A little elbow grease. Voila. Ceiling fan that doesn't wobble or sound like it's going to fly off.

Hubby's sister's boy turned 1 year old this weekend. It was something of a bittersweet end to 3.5 years of generosity on my parent-in-laws' part and a blatant lack of any kind of gratefulness or thankfulness on the part of my sister-in-law and her husband. Some folks concentrate too much on what they don't have and forget the wonder of what they do. I'm thrilled to have ammunition to use next time sister-in-law gives me any kind of shite (I married her brother, you see. I couldn't possibly have a brain in my head) although the reasons for having that new ammo makes me very very sad. Won't stop me from using it someday...

Bathroom is clean.

Heard the Moody Blues' "The Story in Your Eyes" on the radio yesterday. Can't get it out of my head (don't really want to) and am jonesing for more MBlues. Of course, I can't find it streaming anywhere I can get to at work...

Bean. Fruit. Unannounced poop. Hubby likes to remind me that the people we work with don't wear diapers. She'll eventually figure it out. Bean is so cute it hurts. Seriously.

Yes, I know. Pictures. I'm here at the office alone today. I should have brought the backup drive and worked on the stack of photos while no one's around to see. Hm. Might go grab that during lunch today.

Work: Just fine, I guess. I need a bigger desk and keyboard with smoother action. I swear I've got little biceps on my fingers from having to pound these keys.

There you go.

house, kinfolk, job, bean
