When I went to the beach with my family when I was little, my mom would always insist on us getting up really early (while it was still dark!) one day and going to the beach to watch the sun rise. Still in St. Louis. Took the morning off to go site-seeing. Our hotel is right next to the arch, so we walked over there this morning. I'm glad we waited until today as it's been the nicest day so far. My friend and I went through the museum of westward expansion, which I really enjoyed. Well, yesterday I put up my humble little Christmas tree, and as usual I had to put my dog under it and take some pictures! I favored no flash, because I like the yellow-light that white lights on trees give, but that meant some turned out a little dark. There are also some other random pics ( under the cut! )
