the most amazing thing about the gig was the sound system. louie brought in his unique bose PA system. one tube and one bass woofer.  no monitors. and the sound was awesome! i had heard about it, and now i'm a believer.

at the marsh this morning, came across a snapping turtle hunkered down in the earth like a tank, laying eggs.

sue taught me 2-handed euchre last night. and beat me. * s i g h *

at one point during the second set i thought to myself, i can't believe i've sat through nearly two hours of solo accordion music. and enjoyed it immensely. minutes later sue said the same to me.
