Today I am just plain flat out.  First thing this morning, I checked my email and Face Book, and then gave Jyan his wake up call (one of the highlights of any day).  Chatted to Jyan for a while, and then headed down to Puckle Street to send off a few prints and let the boys go tot he Brotherhood.  I posted the prints, but on the way back to the car ( Read more... )

I finally got my pieces back form the framers yesterday, and man, do they look good. Amazing how much a frame and mounting board can make art pop. Later that afternoon I delivered them to Sircuit after helping a buddy move house, and the manager said that he was going to hang on Saturday ( Read more... )

This weekend started out great. Went to the Sircuit on Friday night and really tied one on. Had a great time and stumbled home about 3ish in the morning. Haven't done one of those in ages ( Read more... )

The pieces are at the framers getting mounted.  My mate there (we've known each other since we were 18) gave me a $70 discount, which put me a great state of mind.  I then went over to another mate's place to make up my magnets.  They're all done now, and look fantastic.

Can't wait to start handing them out now :)

A good mate of mine (the president of VicBears) let me know of a little product he'd discovered, that allows you to make your own magnets.  It's cheap, and the results look damned impressive.  He had me design a fridge magnet for Southern HiBearnation, and they come out so good, I've decided to do some of my own.  First off, some marketing ones to ( Read more... )

Last piece for the exhibition is inked. Now I need to get copies, prints, and framing, most of which I'll do tomorrow.

This show is beginnig to come together.

 Just finished inking 2 more pieces for my exhibition.  Now, all I need to do is polish up the rough Surfie Cub I've done, and when I'm happy with that, ink him.  I'll be have my entire collection done today, maybe with enough time to do another couple to throw in.

Either way, I'm pretty happy with what I've achieve today.  I'm off to lunch.
