This weekend started out great. Went to the Sircuit on Friday night and really tied one on. Had a great time and stumbled home about 3ish in the morning. Haven't done one of those in ages.
Woke up early Saturday morning feeling a little seedy and still a bit drunk, but not as bad as I thought I would. Went out with the boys for breakfast, had a look at some mobile phones (thinking of getting myself one, but not too sure yet), did some photocoping, and visited a friend. When I finally got home, I printed out my brochure for the exhibition and discovered that I need to make a few adjustments, and then off to Office Works to print off 300 of the buggers.
While I was at Office Works I get a call from my sister to tell me that our father had a heart attack and was in hospital She was of course really upset and worried, so I told her to take it easy and I'll go and find out what's happened (my sister lives about an hour and a bit from the hospital, whereas I'm about 20 minutes).
I arrive at the hospital to find that he MAY have had a mild heart attack and MAY have pneumonia... we won't know for sure until a few tests are made. In the meantime he was going to be kept in. He seems to be in some pain, but no immediate danger (thank God). I spend a couple of hours with him, call my sister to fill her in on the details (relieving her somewhat).
I head back home, buying some dinner on the way (chicken and chips). Once I had finished that, it was time to fold 300 brochures. 2 hours later, they're done, and I can relax for the evening. I contemplated going out, but decided I was too tired and went to bed.
Let's see what Sunday has to offer.
