I found out yesterday that I've been given a tuition waiver by OCU. If I was Methodist, I could have applied for a special scholarship, but as it is there are a few others I can apply for.

I should be officially enrolled by the end of today. They still haven't gotten the transcript from CCCC, but the coursework is documented on my SNU transcript ( Read more... )

Called the community college in Texas and made sure they sent my transcript. Called OCU and got some things worked out there. Filled out another form online. Talked with a friend who went to the same college in the 80s. According to her, they were worse back then. Good news, she said that if you fought for it, they would eventually give you financial aid. I should not have to fill out duplicate forms to get financial aid. Or at the very least, I should be given the type that auto-duplicates and fill out the duplicates at the time *of* enrollment. Of course, they wouldn't need this if they would KEEP TRACK OF WHAT I'VE ALREADY FILLED OUT - and learn to share between departments ( Read more... )
