I'm still not liking community colleges.

I should not have to fill out duplicate forms to get financial aid. Or at the very least, I should be given the type that auto-duplicates and fill out the duplicates at the time *of* enrollment. Of course, they wouldn't need this if they would KEEP TRACK OF WHAT I'VE ALREADY FILLED OUT - and learn to share between departments.

I called and talked to someone in financial aid, who couldn't help me right then because their systems were down. After I explained my frustration and the reason WHY I needed the art classes, the lady I talked to said she's going to talk to the dean. I told her it was either I get some financial aid or I wasn't going to their college.

I have such a headache.

EDIT: I'm probably going to withdraw from this school. Brittany, aka the lady I talked to, doesn't think I have a chance of any financial aid because I now have a bachelors. Nevermind that I need it for my career.

I'm going to make a couple of phone calls and see if there is a solution to this somewhere.

FURTHER UPDATE: Talked with the financial aid department of my last university. The community college is full of it. I have not come anywhere close to meeting my student loan cap and just because I have a degree does not make me inelligible for financial aid.

college, financial aid
