I'm writing for silkensky's Human AU round request for a story in which 'Spike is a cop and Xander is a troubled teen that Spike takes under his wing.' I'm pretty sure this isn't what she expected - in fact, the fact Spike's a cop doesn't even get mentioned in the story. Xander doesn't find out he's a cop before the end of the story.
