Soooo many things to talk about. Lets start with conventions... I think Anime North is kinda where I left off at since that's the point at which I became swamped with events.

OK, so there's this convention I heard about.

It's happening June 28 - July 1 2012
It's in Natick MA (just outside Boston).
It's called The Rusty Gear, and it's for Venture Bros and Metalocalypse, and that's it.

If you know how much of a Venture Bros fan I am, if shouldn't  come as much of a surprise that I am planning to go. But I'd rather not go ( Read more... )

I'm still working on either writing a review of the con orr doing a review-video, but since plans for that kinda fell through today I'm not sure when (if) it will get done. Regardless, I (and the sexy blue camera that viewpoints sold me) and yavarice, seedofdarkness, Max, and Angela spent 5 days doing the Montreal/Otakuthon thing, and I have some happy fun times to show for it. That's all I can say for that, because in 7 hours I'm leaving for Otakuthon in Montreal. As much as I'm looking forward to the con and Montreal and all that jazz, I'm also looking forward to relaxing a bit more, as Otakuthon marks the end of the con-season for me. Yesterday I feel like I ran all over the city. I wish I could have just stayed home and relaxed on my day off, but I can't say I didn't enjoy myself being out and about.

So unfinished Midna was debuted Saturday, and if anyone even noticed, they didn't say a word. So I am now Katamari-ing 1 000 000 roses. Oddly enough I'm enjoying the level. But then again, I'm only at 16 000 so far. We'll see.
