There was a fire in the Uni library today. I was in there along with my work group and the alarms came on. Naturally everyone thought it was a drill or a test of some sort but a hysterical fellow came in and started yelling "this is real!" So, if you haven't heard, Melbourne - my home town - is hosting the XVIII (18th) Commonwealth Games. Melbourne 2006. I'm feeling quite patriotic right now and i'm very much in the spirit of these Comm. Games. I have tickets to the Athletics event tomorrow night at 6.30pm. Quite excited. I think I'll be going to a couple more events also.
