I just watched the two-part opener of the new 2011 ThunderCats animated series. I was surprised by how good it was. I know it's going to p*** off loads of people who love the original but I enjoyed it.

A top weekend was had by myself and Emma.

We had a nice night in on Friday with tasty home cooked Shrimp Leek and Spinach Risotto (recipe here) which despite initial misgivings (the taster bit of rice I tried was still crunchy in the middle just before I served it) was lovely when all served up with a nice glass of wine.

So I gave Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach a go and thoroughly enjoyed it ! It's a fun solo-playable game set in the world of Eberron. If you fancy a jaunt round Eberron that isn't utter wank (Dragonshard), sadly the amount of races you can play are limited as are the classes but it's fun nonetheless ( Read more... )
