Okay, a bit of a quick update here.  First up, I got my car back!  YAY!  My stepbrother came over Friday with the parts from the other Lincoln that he had in his yard and he and my stepdad swapped out most of the needed materials.  Andy (my stepbro) brought Evelynn, his daughter, along with him because Bev, his wife, was working ( Read more... )

After church we hung out for a bit then Andy and I went out to the garage to work on my car.  He gave me a pair of gloves to wear (think they're called "Tactile gloves").  Really neat gloves, they're like rubberish on one side, allowing you to feel things while still protecting you hands from dirt and all, and regularly padded material on the other ( Read more... )

I don't think I'll be able to come up with the rent (or my telephone/internet bill) by the 30th, so it looks like I'm going to have to ask for a loan from m y parents.  That or see how long I can go without paying and hope the next paycheck or two clears it (but that doesn't seem likely since I haven't gotten a second job yet.)  I know I'm ( Read more... )

Just got a call the other day, I've got an INTERVIEW with Taco Bell this Tuesday.  It'd be rather ironic if I got a job there, because my BROTHER is a district manager for Taco Bell (but in Arkansas, so I doubt he could pull strings for me.)

Not sure what to say... ever have one of those days when you just feel all draggy and tired, and just feel like lounging around in bed for most of the day?  Having one right now.  Wasn't feeling so great yesterday afternoon (which is weird, cause i felt fine that morning).  Then my stomach was bugging me, now i'm just kind of "blah".

Weeell... had dance class last night.  Did NOT go as well as it normally did.  For starters I had started feeling a bit depressed during my workout a few hours before and I guess the feeling hadn't completely gone away.  My mind was just NOT on the class, and I kept screwing up the dance steps, and probably annoying the girls I was dancing with ( ( Read more... )
