Holy Judas it's been a long time since I updated.  So we're going to go with the standard list-thing until I get back up to speed.

Here goes:

• Chicago rocks.
• Join the Impact Chicago rocks.
• Cleve FUCKING Jones.  Brunch.  Me.  Whoa.
• Film students.
• School started.

After a long drive, a very emotional night, and a day of fun around the city, I am feeling more at peace with everything.  Without going too in-depth I've had some reservations about moving up here but, ultimately, I think it'll be a good move.  There are good people up here and even if I've had some issues with them and don't feel as close to them ( Read more... )

A stranger made my day.  While I was driving down Randolph, someone whom I had never seen before in my life drove past me and screamed out their window, into my open window "Yeah, go Obama!"  And I screamed back "Yes we can!"

 Things to do in the near future to push myself forward:

• Get back into working.
• Take some classes next semester - preferably language classes.
• Take up a new type of exercise (I'm thinking fencing).
• Expand my resources. (done)
• Get a regular schedule going concerning waking up, going to sleep, cleaning, etc.

 Pulling away from my family is probably the best decision I've ever made.  In just a couple of weeks I've felt the biggest transformation of my life.  It has been much easier to stay away from the drama of things and just calm the fuck down (and yes, Matthew, if you're reading this...
