I am taking a quick break from painting more illustrations (deadline Tuesday!) to eat tuna on a rice cake (with my cat staring at my back so pathetically and adorably...) and my favourite snack of dried pineapple, and share a bit of new news.

Yay jasmines! We had some night-blooming jasmines outside the kitchen window of the apartment we grew up in, and it always smelled so pretty in the summer.

Your Maki incident has proven that men really can sparkle!

Oooh, how lovely!! I really must go visit these magical places with their wonderful flowers and plants that are so foreign to my cold state. A lady came in to my work asking if we sold Jasmine and she was kinda surprised that it is only sold as a houseplant here-apparently she was from Arizona or something. I hope my plant will smell pretty and flowery one day too!
