Well, week 5 has come and gone: Recovery Week.
It's an interesting week as one doesn't go as crazy in the workout as per the usual workouts, this is a more laid back one. One DVD, all week long and while you won't work out as hard as the regular weeks, you will still break a very good sweat. I enjoyed it.
The first day I was worried about my knees as they were sore and that being my weakness, I had wondered if I'd injured myself. Thankfully it was just soreness because on Day 2 I went through the paces again and didn't have as much pain or hindrance.
Not sure if I lost any weight during this week but I'm hoping so. I did have a few AYCE (All You Can Eat) moments and did indulge in a few high calorie snacks (I found out after I had it that a "snack size" Rolo McFlurry from McDonalds is 510 calories!!) but other than that I have stuck to a basic 1500-1800 calorie a day diet.
Today begins Month 2 of the Insanity program. A lot more exercising and crazy moves, but even though I'm intimidated by it... I'm going to do it and finish it. I want to see results!
