My parents were married 74 years ago today.
Tom Cruise turns 60 today.

1. Yesterday was the 25th anniversary of my dear mother's passing. I remember my parents' 25th wedding anniversary -- red roses, silver-colored gifts, firecrackers and Roman candles. Happy Earth Day Number 51! Honestly, last year's 50th anniversary Earth Day commemoration was shortchanged because the covid-19 pandemic was still so new. Glad to see a bit more awareness of the day this year.

Today I got my first covid-19 vaccine!!! I have been eligible for only a week and I have my first of the two Pfizer shots. Whew!

My goodness, once again we have an Executive Branch with people who know what they are doing. Of course, the previous crew left SUCH a mess.
