So, I'm sure everybody knows the McRib is back at Mcdonald's. Having never had one, I decided to try one before they disappear again. It was good, I guess. I don't regret having it, but I can't see what makes this sandwich any better than any of the other barbeque sandwiches I've had. So yesterday I was looking into setting up a Youtube account. I wondered why they kept bringing up Google, until I read a line that stated you MUST have a Google account in order to sign up on Youtube. It's not easier or more convenient; it's mandatory. Double standards
I didn't watch the Super Bowl, but apparently there was some controversy over one of the commercials. Specifically I'm talking about the Pepsi add in which the wife spends all her time taking "bad" food away from her husband, sometimes forcibly, until the end where he finds out the Pepsi is okay because it's low-calorie (but full taste).

I just noticed...
I just noticed something about the way the English language has changed. There was a time when you would "throw someone to the wolves". Now, you would "throw someone under the bus". When did that happen? And why? I think it's related to the fact that a majority of people live in urban environments, meaning that buses are more familiar than wolves ( Read more... ) -

This time last year I was ready to string up Santa by his sack because I was sick of hearing about him, but so far this year, I haven't heard a word about Christmas from anybody. Weird.
