I really, really need to get these done earlier in the month. Luckily, I suppose, April is a pretty short list. Starting the Uncollected Short Stories. "Backscatter" by Gregory Benford is a cleverer than most scifi bit about asteroid mining and finding life in unexpected places. I always expect to read a lot more on my birthday vacation, and yet I don't.  *shrug*
